Questions about this notice or about your information can be sent to enquiries@lorincz.co.uk.
When you send a message through one of the forms on this site, we receive what you type: your name, your email address and your message, and, depending on the form, your company, phone number, the type of enquiry, and details of a property or site such as its address, size, planning status and asking terms.
Like almost every website, our server records basic technical information when a page is requested, such as the IP address of the device and the page visited. We use this only to keep the site running and secure.
This site does not set tracking cookies and does not use analytics software. If that changes, this notice will be updated first.
We use the information you send us to read and reply to your enquiry, to appraise a property or proposal you have put to us, and to keep a record of that correspondence. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact the company about its business. Where a conversation leads to a contract, the basis becomes the steps needed to enter into it.
We do not use your details for marketing, we do not add you to any mailing list, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Your message is delivered and stored using Google Workspace, our email provider, and passes through the company that hosts this website. Both act on our instructions. [HOSTING PROVIDER TO BE NAMED ONCE CHOSEN.]
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those files from Google and Google sees your IP address in doing so. Google's own privacy policy applies to that request.
Some of these providers process information outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or by standard contractual clauses recognised under UK law.
We keep enquiries for as long as the conversation is live and for up to [12] months afterwards, so that we can pick it up again if you come back to us. Correspondence connected to a transaction is kept for as long as the law and the transaction require. Server logs are kept for a short period and then deleted.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
To exercise any of these, email enquiries@lorincz.co.uk. We will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
The site is served over an encrypted connection, form submissions are sent to us over the same, and access to the mailbox that receives them is limited to the founder. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if something goes wrong with your information.
If this notice changes, the new version will be published here with a new date at the top. Nothing in it is retrospective: we will not use information you have already given us in a way this notice did not describe without asking you.
